Not all Bouncy Castles are the same and not all Bouncy Castle companies are the same. Here at Glendarragh Bouncy Castles we take pride in the fact that all of our Bouncy Castles and Inflatables are built and tested to H.S.E guidelines and regulations, blowers and electrical leads are IP44 rated, PAT tested and checked before every hire. We always clean everything we hire before every party. We will never use sandbags if we need to erect any inflatable on hard standing ground, safety guides state that if we did we would need too use 165kg of weight per anchor point, as most have a minimum of six anchor point that means nearly a ton of weight needed in sandbags alone, stay away from Bouncy Castle company’s who use sandbags on hard standing. Despite what they say, they are NOT insured! Here at Glendarragh Bouncy Castles we can drill and bolt them into the ground thus safely securing the Bouncy Castles to the ground.
Wind speeds is something else you must factor into hiring a Bouncy Castle or any Inflatable for outdoors, and unfortunately here in good old Northern Ireland it’s not just the winter months we need to worry about wind speeds. Any winds, are gusts in excess of 24mph or over are considered dangerous and no Inflatable should be used out doors if winds are to be in excess of this speed. Unfortunately here at Glendarragh Bouncy Castles we have had to cancel some out door hire due to this legislation and we know other so called professional hire put their castles out, please be aware that if an incident should arise and a child is hurt, that hires insurance would have been void due to the weather and therefore not insured. We don’t want to see any children getting hurt and therefore we always abide by the law and our insurance policy.
